Hi, I'm Jasmine Demi
I’m currently a freshman at the real GSU, Georgia Southern University. I enjoying drawing, pretending I’m the next Beyoncé in the shower, and a HUGE supporter of the Natural Hair Movement.
Ever really thought about the perception of being natural? Or are you one of the people who never really noticed? Do you know what being “Natural” really is?
Look at the three beautiful women below. What's the one thing they have in common?

Each women is natural whether she chooses to wear it up, down, short or long.
What to expect...
Get ready to dive into the world of Natural Hair! Here you will learn that there is beauty in everything, regardless of hair texture or length. This is a place that will encourage women to embrace themselves. Not to become jealous of others just because we don't look the same.
When it comes to natural hair “we” as people seem to cast judgment quickly. There's naturalism in places you have never even realized. Work, school, and in organizations. It seems at if were subjected to change, because we don't look the way others would like is to. You're beautiful, we're all beautiful and that's what I'll be writing about. This blog will be dedicated to the ceasing the misconception of natural hair, understanding the minds of the natural community and the things that are currently happening. |
I am Me...Though I have been natural for almost seven years now, I refuse to believe that I am an expertise. Others will always know more and even do more than me. I know I won’t have the solution to everything or that I will be right every single time, but I will work to ALWAYS get my point across. I probably won’t meet the expectations of some as a blogger, because when I blog I let my emotions show through my text. As a Natural in the world it’s hard, because people assume and cast judgement quickly. This topic really hits home with me. I am/will be affected by this by others misconceptions.
